A black and white negative is placed on undeveloped black and white print stock and left in the sun for days to weeks and then fixed. The sun was the only developer used in making the print.

Inspired by the regimented life of my grandfather, this piece uses the rhythm of editing to imply a soundtrack that mimics the most basic rhythm of life, the heartbeat. The Constable’s routine is only interrupted by the two major failings of his body, two heart attacks, the second of which kills him.
